Mourié Premium Linen Vest

Loose-cut vest developed with careful attention to proportions for Vietnamese body types: shoulders that are not too wide, and body and sleeve lengths calibrated for a fitted, elegant look that does not swallow the figure.

Made from premium linen – structured yet with a light natural drape, thoroughly treated to limit shrinkage and wrinkling. To preserve durability and shape, do not machine wash and avoid washing in water. Specialized dry cleaning is recommended, or gentle hand washing without hard rubbing, and do not dry under harsh direct sun.

Notes on linen:

• CREAM WHITE linen is in its natural raw color, so you may see a very small number of nude-colored specks or short streaks. These are natural raw fibers, not stains. Please consider before buying.
• JET BLACK or DARK NAVY linen carries more linen lint that can cling under the arms when worn. It does not itch – it is only soft raw linen fuzz and disappears after a few cold-water rinses. Please consider before choosing.
• All linen is treated to be soft, with minimal shrinkage and prickle. However, those unused to linen may not love the feel. Please consider before choosing.
• Limit washing in water and by machine if you do not want the item to deteriorate quickly and lose its shape. Dry cleaning or gentle hand washing without hard wringing is recommended.
• If washing in water, hand wash only in cold water with mild soap – do not soak, wring or twist; just shake gently and dry in the shade.
• Linen pills easily if washed incorrectly or in areas of strong friction, wooden, rough or abrasive surfaces...

Care notes:

• Striped, color-blocked, dark (black, dark navy...) and bright (red, orange...) items should be washed separately by color. Hand wash the first few times, do not pour soap directly onto the fabric, dilute it, use little soap and avoid strong bleaching detergents. Items are color-tested before production, but depending on each customer’s detergent, a small number of customers may still see color bleed.
• Steam ironing is recommended for all items; avoid hot-plate irons. Never use a hot iron on leather, pleated, thin or shiny materials such as silk, satin, thin cotton, voile...
