Majou Patina Cardholder – a limited-edition cardholder crafted from a single piece of 100% natural cowhide.

The hide is soaked, cleaned and hand-tanned with plant-based tannins, preserving its original grain. After weeks in natural tannin baths, the leather is softened, hand-dyed, then dried and flattened by hand.

Each fiber of the leather becomes supple and warm in color, with a natural woody scent – characteristics that synthetic leathers can never have.

Once finished, the leather is cut, stitched, edge-finished, waxed and hand-stamped with the logo – all done by patient, meticulous artisans.

Now you can own the durable Patina cardholder, which will stay with you for years as its grain grows more lustrous over time.

Care guide

Use only one card per slot. Under heavy pressure or overstuffing, the wallet may lose stitching, tear, lose its shape, and the edge paint on both sides can crack and peel.

Keep away from high humidity and water, which cause mold and loosen stitching. If it gets wet, let it dry naturally in front of a cool fan (a hot dryer will dry out and shrink the leather).

Keep away from insects and rodents, as the product is 100% genuine cowhide and the edge paint on both sides of the wallet is made from natural plant-based materials.

Avoid direct sunlight and flame. Many ads claim “real leather doesn’t burn”, but in reality real leather tolerates heat well – that does not mean it cannot burn. Burning real leather smells like burnt hair, while synthetic leather (Simili, PU...) burns fiercely like plastic. Please contact our team for a video guide on testing genuine leather.

For items with broken stitching, loosened glue or worn leather color (not caused by physical impact), provided the care guide has been followed.
